Happy Spring!
Early Spring has given us some fantastic weather! With that, we emerge from our houses especially children wanting to get outside and play. Please be observant to the speed limit in our neighborhood of 25 mph. The members of the neighborhood watch are "watching" out for ALL of us! We have caught the following license plates driving way too fast. Please SLOW down!
Maroon Mazda SUV Plate no. CAE 5857
Maroon Odyssey Plate no. BHR 4400
Also, please obey the law about school buses and when to STOP. Our parents have caught one vehicle pass the school bus while the flashers have been on and the bus stop sign has been out. The license plate has been given to our bus driver.
According to a study in Ireland by the National Roads Authority, 68% of motorists speed on residential roads. The average speed of cars on roads in 30 mph zones is 45 mph. At these speeds a pedestrian struck by a car has less that a one in ten chance of survival. Our speed limit is 25 mph.
Please help keep all of our children safe!
*SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY*
On Friday, March 23, around 12 noon, a 4 door gray car was driving slow on Cedar Ridge taking pictures of houses. When approached, they sped off. Please be on the look out for suspicious activity and report to the Sheriff's office.
